In January 2008, Creative Cakes was acquired by Washingtonian and well-known pastry chef, Randi Goldman. With over 30 years of experience, Randi merged her bakery, Something Extra Cakery, with Creative Cakes. Randi has made television appearances on NBC4 news segments, The Real Housewives of Potomac, Food Network's Holiday Baking Championship: Gingerbread Showdown, and Cooking Channel's Cake Hunters. Randi has also been featured in local newspapers and magazines (Bethesda Magazine, Frederick Magazine, Gaithersburg Gazette, Montgomery Journal, Potomac Almanac, and Jewish Week) and on WMAL radio on the David Byrd radio show. Randi's passion for beautiful, delicious and uniquely designed products is what continues to keep Creative Cakes so successful.
